The relationship between meteorological variables and the emission of Ambrosia pollen is investigated by a field experiment in Serbia. Temperature, humidity, radiation and high-frequency wind data are measured along with pollen concentrations above a well-defined source of Ambrosia pollen. The ultimate goal of this project is the implementation of the results in the numerical weather prediction and dispersion model COSMO-ART (Consortium for Small-scale Modeling – Aerosols and Reactive Trace Gases).
